Is There Supremacy With the Word Patriotism?

The word patriot comes from the greek word for patris, and speaks of the fatherland. The last couple of election cycles have convinced me that the kingdom of christ is the real constituency in which i am most interested. For myself, it's definitely complicated for the fact that i am english, but i live in another country means i sort of have dual allegiances. But at the same time, living in a foreign country, there is nothing that will make you more patriotic than being surrounded by foreigners the whole time.
