Game In had pitched a few things with established DC characters that they didn't bite for whatever reason. And then this technically is an established character. We'll talk about where this exists in DC continuity, which is relevant mostly for this volume and not for subsequent ones so much. The one we've read is number one, Preludes and Nocturnes. But yeah, the original Sandman is like a guy, this guy Wesley Dodds, who's running around in like a world war to gas masks.
