I worry that there is a disconnect between the policies that we think are going to make people feel better about themselves and their society and what people actually want. So I have been you know using this time to try to just step back and partner with some apolitical people philosophers psychologists who spend their time trying to figure out what is the good life right first principles questions rightwhat gives us meaning and purpose. The United Kingdom does kind of a remarkable thing Britain in particular does this thing called the Joe Cox Commission on loneliness they take one of their existing ministerial postspeople started calling it the Minister of loneliness then later assigned the topic of loneliness to that minister. Japan does essentially the same thing the Prime Minister design
