The Benefits of the MPC

I've gone through this phase of just using a sampler and 2007, I made a record that was all live. And then kind of coming out of that phase and realizing like, I don't need a new phase. So there's times where it's really fun to just appreciate the limitations of the MPC pushed me into a place for a period of time that I didn't want to be in. Now I can bear them on my shoulders for a song or an album or something. It's kind of a great place to be, you can really just enjoy each thing for what it is. You come to like collect all of this stuff and it's all working, which is amazing
