What are moths looking for in a flower? I think we take for granted bees pollen and nectar sometimes, but like pollen seems to be a big reward for a lot of high-menoptera. And it depends on the moth itself. They have a straw for a moth, a coelible straw. And so they are looking for liquid meals, but as it turns out, we've found that some of these moths aren't just feeding on nectar. But pollen that collects on the outside of their proboscis, they are actually excreting compounds that can break down this pollen and then they use that protein absorption from the pollen itself which is a little bit more
