The Fed Is Going to Be Cultivating Inflation Pressures
The Fed is now sort of feeling its way to what level of rates will keep the economy cooled off and inflation pressures moderating without tipping it into a recession. So I think he's going to be cautiously optimistic. The news on inflation and inflation pressures, including things like wage growth for the United States have been very good lately. But they really need to see more evidence that these trends are intact because they haven't been broad based across the world.
