Age of Wonders: A Meta Story

There's much a it has the heroes of Might and Magic itch, right? Where like no major event is going to happen in the game without a tactical battle of some kind. There is not a whole lot of like narrative connection here between this and the original day age of wonderslike maybe they have put together. It seems like they've destroyed the world and rebuilt it like four times but perhaps it's the same world from age of Wonders one.
