The Rejection of Universal Human Rights in Uganda
LZ Granderson: Uganda's new law is a rejection of the morality found in so much of the West. He says it was also an act of defiance against Western governments, civil society and rights groups that implored President Musovini not to sign it. LZ: The United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union all condemned the enactment of the law; they called it a tragic violation of universal human rights.
