The Role of Resistance in Amazon's Struggles
Amazon is famous for being a union buster. Workers who are expressing their agency, who are resisting, maybe in ways that are visible and not visible, they are basically going up against Amazon. But despite these conditions, we actually have seen and we continue to see more and more so workers coming together. So although these workers do not have high leverage on the labor market, at least for now, you know, they are easily replaceable because as a warehouse associate, your training is really not that long. It pretty much accepts anyone who's willing to do that manual work. The potential for disruption is incredibly high.
