The Importance of Defining Myths
One side is just liberals and anti-communists who just want to insult anybody to the left of them. Another side is usually also liberals andAnti-Communists who want to use it as an insult towards anyone who defends or even clarifies misconceptions about former socialist countries. None of these have any ideological consistency, you'll come to realize with a red coat of paint. And not only is the word vague, but all the terminology that the base it off of has absolutely no ideological background. So it really is just a boring insult.
