I think she's just talking about the legitimate fears of any studied, anyone who's paying attention and is a young person. She has a somewhat nihilistic approach to her music that we hear from other artists of other decades. But she's also confronting the issues of today, issues of suicide and climate change. I mean, it's so interesting because in some ways to confront something that already keeps me up at night and pop music,. It's kind of powerful to hear that actually manifested rather than swept under the carpet.
