Introduction
robert a m sterne was dean of the school of architecture at yale from 19 98 to two thousand 16. He hosted the 19 86 p b s series pride of place, served on the board of directors for the walldisney corporation and is the author of dozens of books. Over his nearly 60 year career, sterne had a front row seat to the development of contemporary architecture. It was truly an honor to sit with him for this time and talk through so many of the topics that we're both interested in.
