I think this extensive focus on the self by these characters and by the whole story to be broken up such as this regardless of intention or how far the book itself can take us or not I think it's still a brilliant point to be made so yeah going further or understanding beyond the self or fracturing what the self is or can be is definitely a good discussion. And because we've been mentioning multiple podcasts on this episode I will also mention the collaboration that Horavanger did with Labor Kyle on Nightbreed where that discussion comes up as well but in an incredibly interesting way that like the self is not one thing nice.
