The Myth of the Straight Hellenistic Period
The main themes, the main traditions that have come together here and just restate briefly the mythic pattern. The first is of course the great Bronzier traditions where you have this great theme of the world cycle. Then we have the two warrior traditions coming in, one is the Semitic tradition or traditions,. well and the other is the Akkadians, the Babylonians, the Amorites, the Canaanites and so forth.
