Memphis Police Scorpion Unit Is Inactivated and Is Under Review
Some of the five fired Memphis police officers accused in the fatal beating of Tyree Nichols, were members of the Memphis police scorpion unit. The department says their scorpion unit has been inactivated and put under review following the death ofTyree Nichols. At least two of the five officers charged were a part of the controversial unit. And lawyers for the Nichols family calling for that unit to be disbanded earlier today.
