How to Invent a Language

Inventing languages means coming up with a construction for predication of properties and properties as modifiers. But then when they ask what forms to use, there's lots of different options out there - even just to reflect what human languages have been observed to do. And some of them are very rare, like what happens in Mandarin. Some of them are quite common. So the languages where property concepts are reflected with aspect and subject is pretty common. It's certainly something a con-langer should think about when they're inventing constructions for property concept.
