Is White Privilege an Effective Way to Talk About Raceism?
The political economy of this country makes it harder for the cross racial working class coalitions that would be necessary, i think, to implement social democracy in this country. The term white privilege is not an effective way to talk about what's happening to these people,. nevertheless, you caun say something like, but what white privilege is indicating that that poor white x minor, if he gets pulled over by the police, probably won't be in a certain kind of danger. Let's say that's what we mean by white privilege. We all know what it means, so we can, you know, use air quotes and critique the language all we want. But we know the realty underlying realities
