Science Fiction Is the New Mephos for Civilization
I'm not going to at shopis like the defender of i hear and claim its it's the new mephos for civilization. I think, where where my thinking has gone over a number of years, is that science fiction is essentially the attempt of the science, the era of science, to create a mepho for itself. And if we're a machine, then you can take bits us and put us back together in a different way. And that kind of makeet an artificial human like a himunculus from us. But then that dream kind of falls apart, basically, e inthe star trick universe, it falls apart very fascinating.
