Oman has a tremendous wealth of lore that has not received much study. And it certainly has great relevance for new work on the Gulf so thinking about and thinking in particular of increasing interest in labor histories both contemporary labor histories of the Gulf but also historic studies. It seems to me that in fact a lot of the kinds of meditations you have on the nature of knowledge.
