The Importance of Succession Planning
The book is way better than the movie, by the way. Scratch and sniff too. Really, really couldn't bring that smell of vision to mid 80s movie theaters. So at the off side, often one of the big topics you talk about is my next thing on my list, which is succession planning. It means that the men who started the firm, say 10, 15, 20 years ago, are now so old. That apparently they're going to take the firm that they created and all the equity and compensation that goes along with it.
