I think that's part of the problem honestly is that there is more compelling content right now. I'm really good at using the internet to find interesting stories, interesting tweets, and a lively group chat that is somehow arguing like 24 hours a day as curated by you. And so there's a lot going on that in the past, I don't think would have been nearly as engrossing. You want to be careful to not get too enamored with any sort of point of view. But it is useful to always question your assumptions that the way things are going is obviously bad.
