The Qualitative Characteristics of Experiences
When we go into that area then of pain and suffering, you say it's important to understand what the origins of those are. How is that different if it is different at all from other perceptions such as that's a delicious strawberry or that table is red? Well yes, in the sense that it's precisely the qualitative differences that define the different experiences we have that give them the character that they have. They are different, there is a similarity though.
