By the time caesar died, he had won too much. He was tired of winning. A politician is sort of a sum up of other people's interests. Once you lose that, you've kind of lost the mandate of heaven. So we'll never know caesar's failed war in persia or alexander becoming a tyrant. But they both did die, like they at their absolute apigy - there was probably nowhere to go but down fo for either of them.
