The One True God and Lewis in the Space Trilogy
In America we are very uncomfortable with the fact that the Bible talks about other gods. The Old Testament has Elohim basically bursting out of every page right when when Psalm 8 I guess it is says you know you have made him a little lower than the angels That translation even reflects our discomfort with what the actual Hebrew says which is met at met Elohim like a little bit less than the gods Right so who are all of these gods right and and and Lewis in the space trilogy especially kind of works out this allegory in which what they really were were kind of subsidiary powers.
