If you go back far enough, there are a whole lot of people who like to read. But isn't there a stage? I guess the question is where you cut it off. There are no books. It's pre printing. Yeah, maybe not in China. Exactly how widespread reading was. Well, but again, I'm not arguing for Hunter-Gather here. I'm just arguing for a simpler technological existence.
