The Costs of a United Europe
It's quite a counterintuitive one as far as the UK is concerned though isn't it Brendan because I mean basically it's not a sort of view that yeah I think politicians would necessarily want to be enthusiastic about they'd want the individual states to be much more influential. A lot of the troubles that occurred during the Brexit process occurred because individual member states caused a difficulty and so on. Yes there are costs to a united politically united Europe but I think what it could potentially deliver would far outweigh those irritations at the moment we have in some sense as the worst of both worlds, he says.
