How to Shepherd a Meeting

The main thing you're shepherding is the church. The church has to be in a shape where there's enough unanimity that people aren't feeling either threatened to despair or upset so that they're just spoiling for a fight. There has to be a a widely held and perceived unity of vision, of spirit, of direction. And I think when you have that, that's when CJ's advice to us: "I think it's so wise you start pressing on"
