The Politics of Housework
The value of unpaid work has been overlooked in national accounting, for example. When you takete cost of those services and you multiply it up by the number of hours that people, mostly women, are spending doing those kinds of tasks, it comes out as an absolutely staggering something like 25 % of d b. It's a huge contribution to to the national economy as well. So yon terms over politics of house work, that's clearly relevant. We're going to talk about two kinds of housework to night.
