The Curse of Knowledge

Writing is hard for everyone, including me. I think one of the that i see when graduate students or professors even give a talk, they start slinging the acronyms left and right. The curse of knowledge is the difficulty that human beings have imagining hat somebody else might have a slightly different knowledge base. In fact, i a wils say to my students, pretend you're giving this talk to my mother. She has no training in science. But if she can't understand talk, then you shouldn't be giving that talk to anybody else either. So here's where i really land. My message to you, angela, is to tell all your fellow academics, just keep
