Don't Put All the Information Into Your Presentation

It is very easy for data professionals to feel like they have to put in everything that their users want. I always recommend the people i train to figure out what is it that they want versus need. When youre building presentations, don't put all the information that you possibly can into your presentation. With too much information comes a lack of clarity. And so we must determine what is necessary for the story to deliver its message and decide what needs to be in the appendix.
