How Did Vivaldi Write?

Vivaldi, like Mozart, also liked to live well and he spent his money as fast as he made it. We do have one letter from Vivaldi claiming that he wrote 94 operas. In 1717 Vivaldi was offered a position as the Maestro di Capela in the Montoacorte. It was here that he wrote his four seasons. After Vivaldi died, his music essentially disappeared.
