CNN's John Sutter spoke with M.N. Roy, who co-founded the Mexican Communist Party in 1917. He was a die-hard militant against British colonialism in India but ended up moving to Mexico for an anti-colonial struggle. In his memoir, he describes that it was in Mexico, he becomes an internationalist. The book is "poetry with substance," and you need to read it besides history, Sutter said.
