Peter Bergen: We're taught to believe that wealthy countries are assisting poor countries by giving the money. There's a lot of loans being extended from rich countries to poor countries, but we have to remember the poor country has to pay back the loan plus interest, right? He says since 1982, if you just look at like total full flow in the world economy,. it permanently switched to the other direction.
