The US Government Ends the Search for Airheart and Noonan
The US government ended the nearly $4 million search for Airheart and Noonan on July 19th. There are other, I think, probably private organizations issuing sonar scans of the sea floor around Holland Island. So people are still searching. That's the main meat and potatoes of her last trip and a little bit about Amelia Earhart herself.
