Why Animation Is Not More Popular in India?

I was kind of they just never loved it. Even going back to Disney and Snow White and Pinocchio and no bail. Why, why do you have any idea why animation is not more popular in India? That seems odd to me. I remember when Aladdin came out when it was advertised that is going to come out. I was thinking there will be mad rush for the tickets. And when I went to the theater, I was so surprised and so disappointed that not so many people were there. Then I started looking at other animation groups also.
