How to Lose People in Public Speaking
If people are beginning to lose people in a talk, the best thing in my opinion is involve the audience. And quite frankly, sometimes it's okay to make a self-deprecating joke. But if you make a joke and it doesn't land and it just kind of sinks and some guys like boo, then someone throws like a cabbage at you because everyone has a cabbage in their backpack whenever you public speak.
