Do You Act When You Have No Proof?

It was not until the 19 seventies that people suddenly realized that tens of thousands of miners were dying, horrible deaths. And why does nothing happen? Because all kinds of people stood up and read hoffman's report and said, you've got no proof. We're much too educated and sophisticated and ampathetic to ever look at the suffering of some one else and say, we're not going to act until we have proof. All of us do that. Everyone in this room is doing that even as we speak. Now, what am i talking about? I'm talking about football.
