The L a P D Sweeping Through South Central California
Tim Goman was a little kid during the 19 65 watch riots. He says he had no illusions about what police were capable of. Now deeply it felt gutting and dramatic, but also kind of liberating. More than 300 people gathered outside the court house in simi valley. Another 300 showed up in the san fernando, near the site of the king beating. Others converged on parker center, l a p d's headquarters downtown.
