A lot of it has to do with funding. Different funding bodies now mandate that in order to publish work related to a certain funding, the work has to be published open access. It is a direction where it is going at this moment and I don't think it's going to change. There have to be options for everyone and for every institution. That's the most important aspect. We welcome participation from industry folks in evaluating papers and providing comments as reviewers. They have a great perspective on things.
