Should an Independent Trader Join a Prop Firm?
When is it a good idea for an independent trader to go with a prop firm? There's a lot of different variables to come into play, variables about your individual situation. For example, if you don't have any capital access whatsoever and that's your only option, then what else are you going to do? I feel like that was happening at the firm that I was with in the latter half of my prop trading career. This was a much better firm. In my opinion, the best retail trading, or not retail, but the best execution platform that I've seen, it's completely proprietary. It's not on the market at all.
