The Rise and Fall of the Black Community in Omaha

In 1919, Willie Brown was a black man. It was lynched for supposedly raping a white woman. And that sparked some race riots. That's when the redlining and some of these other tactics started up. They turned from separation of that black community to segregation of a portion of the city.
