Engineering Leadership - What Really Changed?
Ike: Up to two thousand eight, it was likely consider engineering leadership was not real leadership. I think that one, engineers expectation is changed when engineers themselves can work in the open with open source and get stuff done. Ike: The other is that we did have some tool expansion at the same time. We went from really terrible, like just to be really blunt, like micro soft base tools in the mid 90 nd. They were not very good forDevelopers.
