Is Amazon Market Cap Exactly What It Used to Be?
So basically they are taking the revenue of what the that division is and they're saying that it's essentially market cap. It's sort of like, oh, this would be the market cap of this company. If it were standalone, and then you can just do the math, you can say, okay, and that's what that percentage is. And so the margin, that's the last number they give you is for AWS is 29%. But I liked the fact they laid it all out and they're probably using what most people would consider pretty traditional valuation metrics.
