The Role of Doxy in Cytopenias
All these symptoms were present pre-doxy exposure. Now looking at the smear, we see nucleated red blood cells. This patient probably does not have as high of a reticulocyte count that we would be thinking about. It could certainly be an external force like a medication exposure. But those are kind of what's on my mind and what I should be looking at. One thing that I'd love to hear more about is, this rash just because of someone having low platelets? Or maybe we'll get more about this in the next aliquat study.
