Is There a Moral Hazard in Providing Military Assistance to the Ukranian Economy?

Why wouldn't aid be forthcoming from same countries that are supporting the military effort? I mean, we've seen all of these countries across the west saying that ukraine's victory is a national interest for themselves. So isn't there basically some moral hazard in offering that level of military assistance? Doesn't that imply serving as an economic backstop to gaml maybe not moral hazard or something more like sunk costs or something like that? If you've put that money into the military effort, why would you not back it up? The questions here are really about the eu.
