Bach - The Music of the Obo
i've had my whole life an abiding love of backan, and spent many years playing the obo. Iean the outside world, but bach was about the inside world. Most of his cantatas were about coming to terms with your mortality,. And hehad lot of death in his life. He wasn't trying to rearrange the world outside. The interiority of that music, compared toe as you say, maus, kind of a single mindedly exterior product of transformation of the nation. Ornonot not easy.
