What's the Foundation of Dualism in Theology?

Most of what i do is to convert people from a western world view to a more indigenous world view. The reason for that is because the west has developed a very disfunctional, i would say, evil, world view over about three thousand year period. And and it's based on platonic dualism - where you put more value in the ethereal world than the material world. We are mind and body. We are spirit and body. Others have a view of a tripartite human being but we all one. I understand how you can separate these things in order to get at the details, but you have to bring them back together in a full reality.
