Disabilities in the Ancient World

Most people in antiquity would have been what we would today consider disabled. So, if you were a disabled person in class of antiquity, you would have just been one among many. There wasn't an official category with badges or benefits that incorporates many different types of impairments. Of course, there are invisible disabilities - so more on the visible disabilities I think today.
