The Strange Story of a Banjo Tuner
I had never played a guitar in my life and I was like what the hell is this. On one string I could play the melody of anything you know was on the radio. So happens that two doors down from where we lived was a lovely man called Mr. Gibson who'd been in a Japanese prison of war camp immediately they landed. In order for him to survive he cut some floorboards and cut some you know a tin for corn beef that somebody had so he made his own wonky guitar. He didn't have to play either he just knew roughly how a banjo was tuned and he made the strings out a bit of wire. To this day I still do that with the double
