"I can't imagine wanting to go into work every day with a view of kids that was that negative," he says. "We are essentially competing with Silicon Valley's, you know, the grab that these devices have on our children's lives." Staff members should be out at their classroom door at the point of transition, bringing their own class in, but also just being seen down the corridor. If they've got from the third floor to the second floor, walking on the wrong side of the corridor, and they haven't been picked up on by teachers, they'll encounter one who is able to instigate direct correction.
